dc.description.abstract	The Protection under water of ship hull was done by docking facilities. according to limited number, locations and capacities, the reseach for ship plan was inisiated for self docking. the planned ship is a barge 500 ton capacity. the reseach for a barge which is able to carry out self docking is necessary to be executed. The primary and sconder data will be used in the reseach by deterministic and probalistic methods. while the design barge conducted b using comparator barge. the result of reseach are pronciple dimensions of barge i.e. length (lpp) 37,0 m breadth (B) 9,3 m, high (H) 2,81, draft (T) 2,0 and displacement 626,8806 Ton.	en_US
