Abstract:
Abstract. This study aims to determine whether work discipline and work environment together
affect employee performance. The hypothesis proposed in this study is work discipline and work
environment together on the performance of production employees at PT. X. This research uses a
quantitative approach with a survey method and uses multiple analysis techniques. The number
of subjects in this study were 65 respondents who were production employees at PT.X. The
sampling technique used is saturated sampling. Data collection uses 3 (three) scales, namely the
work discipline scale which is compiled according to Rivai's theory (2011), the work environment
scale according to the Nitisemito theory (2006), and the employee performance scale which is
measured using dimensions and indicators from Mathis & Jackson (2007). The results of the
hypothesis test of work discipline, show that the contribution of work discipline and the
employee's work environment together on employee performance is 40.1%.
