dc.description.abstract |
Background: Orthodontic treatment on the bimaxillary dental protrusion is to reduce the
proclination of the mandibular and maxillary anterior teeth. Lost of posterior teeth (free end) often occured in adult cases and required additional skeletal anchorage. Purpose: Mini screw implant orthodontic as temporary anchorage devices is indicated to help this movement without worried about loss anchorage. Case: In this case report, a woman, 38 years old presented class I malocclusion with bimaxillary dental protrusion and free end mandibular posterior teeth. Case Management: The patient was treated using standart edgewise orthodontic appliance with mini screw implant as temporary anchorage devices. Conclusion: The result of this treatment indicated that mini screw can be consider an effective therapy choice |
